Weekend Events – 2/1 – 2/2

Can you believe it is already a month into this new decade? We are deep into the winter groove on the island, enjoying walks on the deserted beaches, spending the grey days curled up with a good book and cooking some homemade dinners. While winter on Nantucket is definitely slower than the busy summer season, there are still events every day! Check out some of the things coming up this weekend below. Saturday, February 1st

This month’s Conscious Connections conversation with Roastd’s Lynne Begier and Nantucket blACKbook’s Holly Finigan is all about Validations and Relationships. On Saturday from 3pm to 5pm at Roastd General Store they will be hosting a meditation workshop, as well as fostering a conversation about empowering your true self. Tickets are $40 and are available here.

Saturday, February 1st

Looking for something to do with the whole family? It’s time for the Montessori Children’s House Annual Winter Carnival. From 1pm to 4pm at the VFW, there will be games, prizes, food and fun for the whole family. Come out and enjoy some family time and support a good cause.

Sunday February 2nd

While sadly our beloved home team, the New England Patriots, won’t be making an appearance in Sunday’s big game, there are still plenty of options to take in one of the biggest sporting events of the year. If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party at home, Bartlett’s Farm has got you covered with a special to-go menu. Check out the menu here and be sure to place your orders early! If you’re looking to take in the big game with a bunch of your island friends, Saltbox Tavern is hosting a party complete with a special discounted bar menu, live music, and the game on the big screens! Fairgrounds is an island staple and where many go for all the big games.
