LRE’s Guide to Cisco, Hummock Pond, & Miacomet

Surfers, golfers or brewery lovers Cisco & Miacomet are the places to go. This area has something for everyone with the calm Hummock Pond, wavy Cisco & Miacomet beaches and the iconic Cisco Brewery.

What To Do

Cisco Brewery is an island essential that offers handcrafted beers, liquors and wine. Everything is made locally and they offer live music, daily tours of the facility and live music. It is a great place for everyone as it is kid and dog friendly.

Nantucket Island Surf School is teaching students of all ages and abilities. They offer private and group lessons. They can also provide all your rental needs.

Miacomet Golf Club is the only public 18-hole golf course on Island. It serves both the year round and seasonal community. With a putting green and driving range, both experienced golfers and beginners alike can perfect their game before hitting the links.

Ladies Beach is a ways out down at the end of Bartlett Farm Road. It is a perfect spot to spend the day with the rolling waves off the shore.

Miacomet Beach is a perfect family beach that is very secluded and has lifeguards on duty.

Cisco Beach is where you find the prime surfing conditions. The soft sand and sandbars create a perfect place to catch the waves. Nantucket Surf School offers lessons everyday and you can complement your trip with the food trucks that come and go throughout the day.

Where To Eat

167 Raw is a fresh seafood market that offers some of the best fish around, beer and wine, and various grocery items to get all those beach essentials.

Bartlett Farm is the largest family-owned farm on the Island. They offer fresh produce, groceries and prepared food. In the height of the season you can also do your own strawberry picking. It is a spot that should not be missed.

Miacomet Golf Club has just reopened after a devastating fire and now has a great snack bar and dining room.
