LRE’s Picks – Groceries & Markets

There are a plethora of options for places to grab something quick for dinner without having to brave the Stop and Shop parking lot. From Madaket to Sconset, Cisco to Mid-Island there is something for everyone. Check out some of our favorites below:

100 Mile Makers

14 Amelia Drive | Website

100 Mile Makers is the newest Nantucket Food Hub. They launched in 2020 during quarantine as a way to support local, small farmers and artisans and they are going brick and mortar. Opening on Amelia Drive in Annye’s Whole Foods old location, 100 Mile Makers is a great spot to stop and pick up some fresh veggies for dinner. 167 Raw

Craving a fresh catch for dinner? 167 Raw is the perfect place to pick up some provisions on your way back from a day spent at the beach or after your afternoon Brewery run. Located on Hummock Pond, right after Bartletts, 167 Raw offers a great assortment of fresh seafood, as well as a meat selection, beer & wine, cheeses, and other gourmet items. If you’re not in the mood to cook – check out their food truck, they have one of the best fish tacos on the island!

Bartlett’s Farm

Bartlett’s Oceanview Farm is one-stop shopping for all your farm fresh needs! Bartlett’s is a full grocery store with farm grown produce as well as a garden center so your window boxes can always look pretty! Bartletts also has a farm kitchen which is always cranking out delicious farm fresh meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Nantucket Meat & Fish

Nantucket Meat & Fish is a gourmet market on the corner of Old South Road and Amelia Drive. They offer fresh seafood, prime meats, prepared sushi, grocery items, as well as a breakfast and lunch counter. They make their own bagels fresh everyday and have a large menu of breakfast sandwiches so be sure to check them out for your morning pick-me-up as well!

The Sconset Market

4 Main Street, Sconset | Website

Sconset Market is located in the heart of the village at the eastern end of the island. The market has everything you need for your back yard barbecue. The market also has famous blueberry muffins, so get your morning coffee and a muffin and walk to the beach to enjoy your breakfast on the water. If you’re not a morning person, they also have an ice cream counter for your nightly sweet cravings!
