LRE’s Picks – Dog Walks

Lee Real Estate is an office full of dog lovers, so we know all the best spots to bring the pup to get some exercise. Below is a list of just some of our favorites – there are so many dogs on the island and so many places to bring them!

Tupancy Links

165 Cliff Road | Website

Tupancy Links is a 73 acre parcel on the north shore of the island. The old golf course is home to 1.5 miles of trails that wind through the course with sweeping views across the north shore to the Nantucket Harbor. There is a large parking lot and is open to all.

Sanford Farm & Ram Pasture

118 Madaket Road | Website

Sanford Farm & Ram Pasture is one of the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s most popular properties. 780 acres in the mid-western section of the island, Sanford Farm & Ram Pasture is fun for the whole family. There are well marked trails and sweeping views of the ocean and some of the island’s ponds.

Altar Rock

The Moors | Website

The Middle Moors is the island’s largest section of undisturbed landscape. The Moors are a collection of 3,220 acres of protected open space. Altar Rock is one of the most dominating sections of the Moors. Altar Rock standing at 100 feet above sea level is on of the tallest parts of the island and on a clear day provides a breathtaking view of Sankaty Lighthouse, Pocomo, Polpis, Sconset Village, all the way to Great Point Lighthouse. There are miles of roads and trails throughout the Moors with many access points. Check out the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s website for a detailed map of the area.
