Keeping Nantucketers Fed

Nantucket is known for its sandy beaches, quaint cobblestone streets, and hydrangeas. Another thing Nantucket is known for is world-class restaurants. For a small town, we are blessed with dozens of delicious offerings every day. The restaurant industry is cemented into what makes Nantucket such a special place. Our friends in the restaurant industry are among those who are hurting during this global pandemic. Our industry pals are stepping up and doing their part in helping the community. Below is a list of grocery stores, meal delivery services, and restaurants that are helping out the community. We are all looking forward to seeing you all at our favorite restaurants once this passes, but in the meantime, take-out it is!

Annye’s Whole Foods

Annye’s Whole Foods on Amelia Drive is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. You can email ackannyecamara@gmail.com your grocery list for curbside pick-up on any of the days they are open. Include a number to contact you and they will give you a ring once your order has been fulfilled for payment and pick-up.

Bartlett’s Farm

Bartlett’s Farm is working tirelessly to keep up with islanders needs right now. They are offering curbside pick-up, delivery through ACK Eats for lunch and dinner specials, and are offering senior only hours every day. The first hour the farm is open every day (8am – 9am) is for people 60 and over to come and shop. As the senior members of our community are more high risk for this virus, Bartlett’s wants to create a safe space for them to come and shop. Check their Facebook page and Instagram for daily updates.

Cisco Brewers

Craving a Gripah or a Madaket Mule? Missing your favorite island hang-out spot? While it might be a little while until we can all reconvene for a drink at the Brewery after a long day, you can still enjoy all your favorite Cisco products straight from your home. Cisco is offering curbside pick-up, so all you have to do is drive through the parking lot and they will load your order straight into your car for you. Not just for beer and booze though … if working from home means that your daily outfit has become sweats only, order some new Cisco swag so you can WFH in style.

Keepers

Keepers Restaurant is offering take-out and delivery of their dinner menu 7 nights a week. They are also offering nightly specials. Craving the breakfast burrito? They are offering their breakfast menu for take-out on Sunday mornings from 8am to 12pm. You can order online through their website.

LemonPress

The ladies at LemonPress have kicked into high gear and are offering their Lemon at Home meal kits delivered straight to your door. Tuesday through Friday they are bringing dinner straight to you. They change their menu weekly so be sure to follow along on Instagram to stay current. Craving a LemonPress Acai bowl? They’ve got you covered with that too with kits on how to make them yourself!

Nantucket Meat and Fish Market

Nantucket’s Meat and Fish Market is open on the corner of Amelia Drive and Old South Road. They are open for both in-person shopping and delivery. If they have it in the market, they will deliver it to you. Give them a call (774-333-5176) or email them at info@nantucketmeatandfish.com to place your order for delivery. They are also offering curbside delivery if you feel like going for a drive but don’t want to go in the store.

Petrichor Wine Bar

Nantucket’s mid-island wine bar is open for curbside pick-up and delivery. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 5pm to 9pm for dinner. You can call and place your order for curbside pick-up, or you can order through ACK Eats for delivery. They are open on Sunday morning from 11am to 2pm for brunch. You can find their menus on their website here.

Pi Pizzeria

Pi Pizzeria always offers take-out and now is no different. You can call the restaurant to place your order and pay over the phone. Once your order is ready and you’ve showed up to pick it up, call the restaurant again and they will bring your order out to you! Who doesn’t want meatballs right now?

Pizzeria Gemelle

There is little more comforting than a big bowl of pasta or a piping hot pizza. We are craving comfort food these days and our friends at Pizzeria Gemelle are coming through for us in a big way. They have taken Ventuno’s (their sister restaurant) pasta staples and created meal kits so you can make them at home! If you’ve ever craved that Strozzapreti pasta in the off-season, well now is your chance to enjoy it in the comfort of your own kitchen. Follow along on their Instagram account for full, up-to-date details.

PPX Events

Here’s another meal delivery service to add to your rotation! PPX Events is offering meals Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. There will be a new menu every week, so be on the look-out for what looks good to you. They are offering kits that feed 2 people, or 4 people – so you can order for the whole family!

Wicked Island

One of the things we are missing most right now is our daily routine of getting a coffee and morning bun from Wicked Island Bakery on our way to work. Well if you’re in the same boat as us, they are offering online ordering and a take-out window to keep you stocked with coffee and baked goods. Visit their website here for a full breakdown on how and where to order.
