Sam Parsons

Born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, Sam Parsons still considers herself an African at heart. After college, she launched her career in the travel industry, earning her diploma and specializing in local, regional, and international travel for both business and leisure clients. Her career took her from Zimbabwe to South Africa and then to London, where she continued to expand her expertise while traveling extensively throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada.

In 1995, Sam arrived on Nantucket for what was meant to be "just the summer" and quickly fell in love with the island. Two years later, she met her husband and decided to make Nantucket her permanent home.

Before transitioning into real estate, Sam built a successful career in hospitality, spending eight years with the Nantucket Boat Basin and Nantucket Island Resorts, followed by more than three years as the Director of Membership Services at the exclusive Westmoor Club. In 2008, she brought her passion for exceptional service, extensive local knowledge, and a strong network of longtime clients into the Nantucket real estate market.

Today, Sam is known for her personalized approach, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping buyers, sellers, and renters achieve their goals. Having called Nantucket home for more than 30 years, she offers her clients not only market expertise but also an insider's appreciation for the island's unique lifestyle and community.

When she isn't in the office, Sam enjoys walking, practicing yoga, traveling, exploring new cultures, reading, cooking, going to the beach, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. She has volunteered with the Dreamcatcher Committee for Palliative & Supportive Care of Nantucket (Hospice), The Warming Place and served as an ESL tutor through the Nantucket Atheneum.

Fun fact: A lifelong lover of African wildlife, Sam has a special love for elephants and proudly supports organizations dedicated to their conservation and protection. She proudly supports the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Big Life Foundation and the International Anti-Poaching Foundation Her visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya remains one of her most meaningful travel experiences.
