"Timeout" is located on Main Street in the beautiful village of Sconset in Nantucket. It i s is situated on a large lot with beautiful hedged in yards, front and back, with a heated pool and outdoor cooking center. The main house has 5 bedrooms each with its own full bath, and a finished basement, also with a full bath and shower. The separate guest house has one bedroom, a living room and bath. There is also an outdoor shower. The finished basement has a hand-crafted nautical style bar perfect for entertaining, as well as TV, and ping pong room. Upstairs, the dining room seats twelve and the back deck has a covered outside dining area perfect for dinners under the stars. The kitchen has a large center island which usually turns into the family gathering place. Two dishwashers make clean up a breeze. One of our favorite features is that two bedrooms and the deck off the master bedroom on the second floor have ocean views, making for a wonderful morning wake up. In addition, there is a fully equipped home office with French doors opening to the pool and backyard. As with most large families and groups, laundry is ever present. There is a laundry room upstairs in the main house, a commercial sized washer and dryer in the basement and a separate washer/ dryer in the cottage.
