The season is upon us. Restaurants are re-opening and visitors are arriving to our shores. Check out the May events calendar so you don’t miss out on anything this season!

May 17th – May 31st – Spring Art Week

Spring Art Week with the [Nantucket Arts Council](https://nantucketartscouncil.org/) is kicking off May 17th for a celebration of the arts! The Nantucket Arts Council is a non-profit organization that supports and encourages the community of visual, performing, and literary arts!

May 20th – CRU Re-Opens

Did you hear that? The waterfront is calling your name. Nantucket’s premier oyster bar, CRU Nantucket, is opening up for the season. Grab some friends and get to the wharf for an opening weekend with oysters and rosé! May 28th – May 31st – Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day kicks off our summer season in a big way and is usually filled with Figawi sailors and revelers alike. Due to COVID, the Figawi race isn’t coming to Nantucket but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a long weekend to start off our summer season. Hit the beach for the first beach weekend, fire up the grill for a backyard BBQ and enjoy the start to the season.
