LRE’s Guide to Sconset

In its own secluded town 7 miles down milestone road. These homes have some of the most amazing views and this area even features a nice bluff walk that is located in front of some of the most beautiful houses. The rose covered cottages come in full bloom over the summer. 

 

What to Do

Sankaty Lighthouse is located at the easternmost point of the island and still operates today. 

Codfish Park is an area right near the beach with a great new playground. 

Sconset Casino is a non-profit organization that is a social and tennis club. It is members only but is a great venue for all events. 

Siasconset Golf Course is the oldest golf course on the island and is one of the two public courses. 

Nantucket Golf Club is a private golf club that is known for its gorgeous views of the Sankaty lighthouse and is home to the Nantucket Children’s Charity. 

Sankaty Golf Club is another private golf club offering tennis, beach facilities, social events and family-friendly activities for members.

 

What to Eat

Claudette’s Sandwich Shop is their huge sandwiches that are perfect to enjoy on their outdoor patio. 

Sconset Market is a luxury grocery store that offers all your essentials. They even have an ice cream counter that is an essential stop. 

Sconset Cafe is a quaint restaurant in the village that offers unique and delicious options. It is BYOB but they have a wine shop right next door. 

The Chanticleer is an elegant essential that offers garden views and a romantic setting. 

The Summer House is a boutique collection of inns and restaurants, including the Beachside Bistro. It offers amazing views of their pool or the ocean.
